Blacksmith Fork Canyon. Rt047, E of Richard's Hollow Trail. I hiked Richard's Hollow Trail, off Left Hand Fork (Rt245), to the Cart Trail, which brought me E to Rt047 and back down that to Rt245 and back to the trailhead.

Habitat
On thin dry soil under Acer, Juniperus scopulorum, and Prunus, with Berberis repens. Carex cordillerana and C. geyeri were also present.
