Habitat
About midslope on a steep, N-facing forested hillside dominated by Quercus rubra. In loose sandy loam soil. Specs collected nearby include C.tenuis, C.protrusa, C.tennesseensis.
Collection notes
Possessing a rhizome somewhat similar to that of C.protrusa.
