Habitat
Growing in a crevice of a mossy boulder (dolomite) in the bottom of a shallow N-S trending ravine. Heavily forested with Acer saccharum and Quercus rubra. Collected nearby species include C.protrusa, C.tenuis, typical C. fragilis.
Description
Many characteristics seem intermediae with C. fragilis. .
