Habitat
At midslope on the E-facing side of shallow forested ravine. Oaks dominate general area but immediate canopy dominated by large Pinus strobus. In deep sand with thin layer of pine needle duff. With D.carthusiana, A.platyneuron, Osmunda claytoniana.
