Habitat
On the extremely steep upper portion of the SE face of this narrow diabase ridge that rises 600ft above Lake Superior. Seen in two spots: 1) sev. pants in moderately dense patch in a shaded mossy void amongst large angular talus blocks and 2) a few plants ~70ft upslope in an area of increasing moisture along the base of a 50ft SE-facing dry sparsely vegetated cliff.
