Habitat
On very steep midslope of a 380ft E-facing bluff. Degraded mesic woodland recovering from past grazing. Canopy of Celtis occidentalis, Quercus macrocarpa, Q.rubra, and Ulmus americana. Deep sand with a dark organic upper profile. With Parthenocissus inserta, Vitis riparia, Cryptotaenia canadensis, etc.
Description
Scattered plants and loose to moderately dense small colonies; occasional locally.
