Robust clumps on dry sandy earth, exposed, on steep granite/sand slope. Boechera superficially like this one were fairly common in the lower 2/3rds of the hike, but other species were present, too (see CJR5249, 5250).
Material from one individual from the population was air-dried (in an envelope) for several days before being transferred to silica (the specimens and material are from the same clump -- probably all the same plant).
