Desert Experimental Range (DER). Foothills of the Tunnel Springs Mountains, as they extend S into the salt desert flats. Open rocky/gravelly slopes and ridges, with low rock outcrops.

Habitat
On the lower section of one side of the grey-colored, rocky but non-slippery hill. Co-occuring with white asters, Boechera, Polygala acanthoclada, Cymopterus, etc.
Description
Small population.
Permitting authority
Collected during the Intermountain Botanical Foray 2023, with access, facilities, and support provided by the Rocky Mountain Research Station.
