Desert Experimental Range (DER). Tunnel Spring Mountains. Hiked From the western side of the range heading east, followed the central wash north until reaching the saddle, then west towards the ridgeline. Pinyon-juniper woodland with adjacent salt brush community, ordovician limestone/dolomite with poorly sorted substrate, and one portion of quartzite.
