Habitat
Dry open coniferous forest, with fairly dense low shrub layer. With Vaccinium, Hieracium albiflora, Chimaphila, Achlys, Orthilia, Goodyera, etc.
Description
Locally common (?) as clumps, the peduncles drooping down the slope from the plants.
Collection notes
Acrocystis sedges were quite common along this trail; see also CJR 4509. Photos taken.
