Dry open coniferous forest, sloping gently to stream. With Adenocaulon, Pteridium, Paxistima, Vaccinium, Arnica, Elymus, Achlys, Hieracium albiflora, etc.
Description
Common (?) as soft lax clumps.
Collection notes
Acrocystis sedges were quite common along this trail; see also CJR 4510.
