In notches in rocks and larger "valleys" (occasionally water-filled? Sandy-bottomed) on coastal exposed outcrop (both limestone and something basaltish?). With Plantago maritima, cf Grindelia, etc.

Collection notes
A voucher was pressed (although it suffered in a plastic bag for some days before that, and ended up in pretty poor shape). In additional, seed samples were taken from 11 individuals.
