Description
One robust multi-stemmed shrub at the margin of granite flats around edges of a creek and dry forest. In very thin soil, with Anthoxylum, Aira, Polytrichum, Juniperus (both small plants and large trees), Asplenium platyneuron, scattered Phemeranthus (at the very edge of the bare rock), Ligustrum, Cladina, etc.
Collection notes
Flowers were long past, but brown fruits (aborted?) were abundant; they mostly fell off when the plant was collected.
