Description
Uncommon on upper areas of earthen roadside banks (or the level areas above the crest), with cf Eupatorium rugosum, Verbesina, Carex cf corrugata (CJR 2912), Rubus, poison ivy, Viola, etc. Through rich deciduous forest with Acer rubrum, Bentula lenta, Carya tomentosa, Liriodendron, Robinia, Pinus strobus, etc. Carex cf deflexa (CJR 2909), cf nigromarginata (CJR 2908), appalachica (2910), and digitalis (2911) were all collected in the vicinity.
