Description
Rare? One robust clump seen, but the same or a similar species was common/uncommon in the broader vicinity. On disturbed earthen roadside bank. Through rich deciduous forest with Acer rubrum, Bentula lenta, Carya tomentosa, Liriodendron, Robinia, Pinus strobus, etc. Carex cf deflexa (CJR 2909), cf nigromarginata (CJR 2908), digitalis (2911), and laxiflora (2913) were all collected in the vicinity.
