Description
Locally common/uncommon (only seen on one small area) on short friable rock face at edge of road, and associated areas of thin soil, with sparse other vegetation, including Polystichum, Houstonia, etc. Rich deciduous forest with Acer rubrum, Bentula lenta, Carya tomentosa, Liriodendron, Robinia, Pinus strobus, etc. Carex cf nigromarginata (CJR 2908), appalachica (CJR 2910), digitalis (2911), and laxiflora (2913) were all collected in vicinity.
