Description
Locally common as patch on sunny "knob" of earthen roadside bank, in rich deciduous forest with Acer rubrum, Bentula lenta, Carya tomentosa, Liriodendron, Robinia, Pinus strobus, etc. Carex cf deflexa (CJR 2909), appalachica (CJR 2910), digitalis (2911), and laxiflora (2913) were all collected in vicinity.
