Mitchell Mill State Natural Area, SW side of Hwy 96 at the Little River. Area is dominated by granite flats, over which flows the river, and wet to dry neighboring woods, including taxa like Fraxinus profunda, Yucca filamentosa, Vaccinium arboreum, Itea, etc. Classic granite flats species present include Phemeranthus and Diamorpha smallii.
