Sewerline along Knap of Reeds Creek southwest of Veasey Drive, beginning ~200m SE of junction of Old Oxford Highway and Veasey Dr. The sewerline clearing passes through a mix of uplands with prairie/savannah elements and marshes, over diabase sill, with basic or circumneutral soil, rare in the North Carolina piedmont.

Description
Uncommon at the edge of a rarely mowed sewerline right-of-way through mixed forest, with Scleria, Carex spp., Cornus, Ostyra, Acer, Cercis, Pinus, Melica, Dichanthelium, Hypericum stragulum, Sphenopholis nitida, etc.
Collection notes
Perigynia were decidedly plump and juicier when fresh. Griseae sedges were common along this path, including some very short-spikeletted ones. All the same?
