CJR: ID tentative (C.tetanica). Plants not rhizomatous, that we noticed in the field, anyway. Impressed nerves on perigynia. Perigynia three-angled.

Description
Locally common, as widely spaced clumps, in duff in dense shade of Fagus, with sparse understory. Deciduous forest. Carex willdenowii collected nearby (CJR et al. 2826).

Foliage light green (not blueish).
