Identification comments
CJR: ID tentative (C.grisea) by leaf width, etc. Pistillate sheaths and peduncles slightly scabrous (the projections break off easily), so could key to C.conoidea. And perigynium shape better for C.corrrugata?

Description
Locally common, clumped, in wet weedy meadow with Lonicera japonica, forage grasses, Juncus, Rubus, Anthoxylum, etc.
Collection notes
Foliage was a distinctly light green (yellowy--not glaucous).
