Description
Locally common, at pathside, in section of floodplain forest that was higher and drier, with dense oak leaf duff, Claytonia, Acer seedlings, Carpinus, etc. General area is a wooded deciduous floodplain (Acer, Platanus, Celtis, Quercus, Fraxinus, etc.) in a diabase sill. Plants strongly rhizomatous.
