Common, with Glechoma, Claytonia, Acer barbaratum seedlings, Aesculus sylvatica, Viola sp., etc., on path edges in floodplain slope of the Eno River. General area is a wooded deciduous floodplain (Acer, Platanus, Celtis, Quercus, Fraxinus, etc.) in a diabase sill.
