Locally common at edges of disturbed opening (large powerline right-of-way, managed for dove hunting?), with Bidens (abundant), Pycnanthemum, Liatris, Iva annua (CJR et al. 2707), etc. Favoured slightly wetter sites, such as the edges of depressions.
