Habitat
Wet earth in small flats adjacent to season alpine creeklet, with scattered graminoids and Erythronium, and nearby not-quite-leafing-out Salix.
Description
Locally common, but only noticed in this one area.
Collection notes
Three Ranunculus collected in the vicinity: CJR5561 (the common one one with Claytonia in open rocky ground, narrow petals), 5562 (locally common in flat moist earth by seasonal alpine stream, with broader petals and generally squatter), and 5564 (also locally common alongside a seasonal alpine stream, but bigger, with undivided leaves).
