Habitat
On edge of trail through oak woodland. On Bromus cf. diandrus (Bromus hordaceus and Bromus cf. rubens were both common, too, but I didn't see any Ustilago on them).
Description
Rare here, but then fairly common to uncommon farther uphill on the trail.
