Notes from Gerald Peters (June 21, 2000): " A. MEX 1 (Strain previously designated X1 at VCU). This was listed as BR-S-CF at Kettering. It is NOT in the IRRI collection. It was received at CFKRL in June 1979. D.W. Rains sent it from Davis. Its origin was listed as Subaco Road. It was collected in September 1975 in the Sutter Basin of Sacramento Valley, Sutter County, CA in a saline intruded area at an elevation of 10 meters."
