Habitat
Growing in cracks of exposed granitic bedrock, with Selaginella wallacei, Polypodium glycrrhiza, Berberis aquifolium, Achillea millefolium,Polystichum munitum, Hylocomium splendens, Polytrichum, Rhytidiadelphus, in beautiful open rocky mossy knolls, Surrounded by Pseudotsuga menziesii–Arbutus menziesii–Holodiscus discolor forest.
