Habitat
Humusy soil at base of limestone outcrops, under and amid Ceonothus in chapparal with sparse ghost pine. With Thysanocarpus curvipes spp. Elegans (998), Boechera breweri ssp. breweri (999), Pellaea andromedifolia, Mentzelia gracilenta, Erodium cicutarium, Salvia columbariae, Phacelia sect. Phacelia, Lotus, Bromus rubens, Avena, Yucca, Ceanothus, Adenostoma, etc. Local.
