Common on sandy schoal/edge of the Flat River, with Echinochloa, Ludwigia, Mollugo, etc.
Collection notes
This species was also abundant (covering many acres; millions of plants) on the east end of Jordan Lake (Chatham Co.), on extensive mudflats.
