Specific locality
Sewerline along Knap of Reeds Creek southwest of Veasey Drive, beginning ~200m SE of junction of Old Oxford Highway and Veasey Dr. The sewerline clearing passes through a mix of uplands with prairie/savannah elements and marshes, over diabase sill, with basic or circumneutral soil, rare in the North Carolina piedmont.

Description
Plants that looked generally like this (see also CJR et al. 2830) were common. This collection was at the edge of (and extending into) a rarely mowed sewerline right-of-way through mixed forest, with Scleria, Carex spp., Cornus, Ostyra, Acer, Cercis, Pinus, Melica, Sphenopholis, Hypericum stragulum, etc.
