Cultivated in greenhousse at Univ. of Florida Hort Unit, Gainesville, from cutting of original collection made at Soldier Creek, W of Hwy 17/92 (Janco 177, Oct. 28, 2000). Earlier fertile specimen Janco 506 deposited in FLAS, NY, USF. (duplicate of dried specimen).<BR>In an email sent to K. Pryer by C. Jacono on July 18, 2006, she indicated that this material had been annotated to M. oligospora (see also Jacono & Johnson, 2006).
