Notes from Gerald Peters (June 21, 2003): "B. PIN 2+ (A. pinnata var. imbricata. Isolate previously designated P1 at VCU). Was carried as BR-M-CF at the CFKRL. It was collected in the experimental paddy field of MARDI station at Bumbong Lima, (Butterworth?), Malaysia in August of 1976. Davis obtained it from the IRRI collection and we got it from Davis in June 1979. It correspond to PI 0002 in the IRRI collection. (note IRRI catalogue shows it being collected in 1977 instead of 1976)."
