Notes from Gerald Peters (June 21, 2003): "NIL 1 - carried at VCU as N1. Obtained from Fishers' now defunct Greenhouse cultures after loosing mine and freed it of epiphytic photosyntheic contaminants. We obtained this at CFKRL in the early 1980s. It was collected by T. Lumpkin in Kosti, Sudan in 1982 and corresponds to the IRRI collection number NI 5001."
