Habitat
Low knoll, near rodent mounds, with A. nova, Eriogonum, Ephedra nevadensis, Eriogonum shockelyi, ricegrass, Sphaeralcea caespitosa, Hesperostipa comata, snakeweed, Rhinotropsis.

Locally common.

Collected during the Intermountain Botanical Foray 2023, with access, facilities, and support provided by the Rocky Mountain Research Station.
