Path edges and cliff ledges, with Claytonia cf. sibiricum (CJR 4445), Mahonia, Polystichum, Geranium robertianum, vanilla leaf, etc. This species was common, but only along ~100m of the trail, whereas the Claytonia was much more widespread. At the time, I thought this (the Montia) was a Claytonia, too. It cooccured with the Claytonia sibirica, but had different leaf shape, mostly basal leaves, lax to procumbent flowering stems, later flowering (most were just in bud, whereas the big one was in full bloom), and pinker unnotched petals?
