Specific locality
Above tributary drainage of 12-Mile Creek, up the slope past the first switchback in the 12-Mile County Road. On this hike I started at 12-Mile Co. Rd at the switchback and hiked up the 4x4 track above the S side of the creek, which then veers south and west.

Habitat
Between small rocks on 4x4 track cutting across talus slope. With that yellow-flowered fern-leaved Apiaceae sp., Prunus virginianum, Ribes, sagebrush, etc. Clumped.
