Habitat
Gentle NW-facing sagebrush slope, with grasses, an Antennaria-mimicing Polygonaceae, Fritillaria pudica, Lupinus, Mertensia, Ranunculus, etc. The slope was fairly disturbed, with small open sections of dirt (frost heave?). The Claytonia were within a dozen feet or so of a 4x4 path -- perhaps a little moister than other areas?

Locally common, in a relatively narrow belt.
