Description
Locally common on schist-ish/gneiss-ish outcrop, in pockets of soil, with Hydrangea, Kalmia, Dryopteris marginalis, mosses, Poa, Carex, mustard, etc. Partial shade. In largely Rhododendron/Tsuga slope forest.
Collection notes
Collected two plants here, intended to be one collection, but I split them when I pressed them because of leaf width differences into a wide-leaved collection (3774) and a narrow-leaved one (3775).
