Sewerline along Knap of Reeds Creek southwest of Veasey Drive, beginning ~200m SE of junction of Old Oxford Highway and Veasey Dr. The sewerline clearing passes through a mix of uplands with prairie/savannah elements and marshes, over diabase sill, with basic or circumneutral soil, rare in the North Carolina piedmont.

Description
Common with Rhus aromatica, Rhus cf copulina, Scleria, low Rubus, Euphorbia coronata, etc., in openings in scrubby powerline cut through mixed forest. Cirsium carolinianum and Echinacea laevigatum occur nearby.
