Habitat
In seasonally wet seeps where trail crosses N-facing cliffs with Grimmia pulvinata, Syntrichia ruralis (or perhaps another member of the S. ruralis complex), Plagiobryoides, Agave, Myriopteris lindheimeri, Juniperus, Erythranthe guttatus.
