Rocky hill/outcrop dominated by sparse Pinus monophylla/Juniperus osteosperma.
Description
Common (but I'm not completely sure that they all had these compact inflorescences), with Elymus elymoides, Bromus tectorum, Eriocoma hymenoides, etc. On gravelly/rocky slopes, exposed.
