Habitat
On rocky slope, covered by large boulders. The whole area is serpentine-dominated. Common plants nearby were Ceanothus velutinus, Arctostaphylos patula, Quercus garryana var. breweri, Quercus sadleriana, Quercus vacciniiifolia, Prunus emarginata, and a stand of Taxus brevifolia.
