Terrestrial fern in wet native forest in a semi-light situation on the north-west facing flank of Mount Uluigalau, probably about 1.25 kilometres southeast of and above the nearest point of the main coastal road, probably near its high point between Waimakilu and Qacavulo, southern Taveuni.
